Backup And Restoring Of Data In Balckberry Z10

Backup your Content, apps etc to cloud and restore it
Backup and restoring of bb10 data

  • Backing up from a Z10 or Q10 is slightly old fashioned and reassuring, as it stores the data on your computer. To create a back up, download the BlackBerry Link application and install it on your PC.
  • Connect your phone to the computer using its cable. BlackBerry Link will identify the device. Click on the Settings icon (top right in the program).
  • In the General section, check Back up My Device and Select Data To Include In Your Backup Files. On the left pane, click on Back Up Now.
  • To restore the data, you will have to use the same application. Along with the Back Up Now option, there is a Restore Device Data option. Use that to restore the data to your device.

BACKING UP AND RESTORING AN OS7 DEVICE

Users who have OS7-powered BlackBerry phones can back up their data locally on their computer as well as to the cloud. To back up on your local computer, download the BlackBerry Desktop Software from the company's website and install it on your PC. Then connect your handset to the computer, click BlackBerry device on the left panel in the Desktop Software and select Backup Now on the main screen.

  • To restore the data that you had saved previously, connect the phone to computer and click on Devices at the top left corner of the program.
  •  From the dropdown menu, select Restore and follow the instructions on the screen.

The other way to back up and restore contacts, etc, on OS7 devices is through the BlackBerry Protect app that can be downloaded from BlackBerry World for free. It can't save data for BB10 devices, but for OS7 devices it can be used along with the BlackBerry Protect website to manage backups and restore your phone.

INSIDE IPAD -How They Made It

INSIDE IPAD

BREAKDOWN Of IPAD-Getting under the hoods

Since tablets are light and compact, their primary purpose is mobile computing. This means that they must have suffi cient battery life despite the large display screens and touch interface. Here’s the hardware that helps manufacturers make that happen.

Components That Consists of The tablet IPAD:

PROCESSORS  OPERATING SYSTEMS

@   STORAGE SPACE     @  TOUCH SCREEN UI  @   SENSORS @  CONNECTORS
@   CAMERA

The Cost Of Making A Single Ipad Can cost upto $499-$699 So why such a huge price for it lets see inside it:

processor:
The brain of any tablet is the processor that powers the core working of a tablet. Most tablets today are powered by the processors from ARM or those based on Intel’s x86 architecture. A typical chipset based on the simple ARM architecture can handle 4 million instructions per second at 8 MHz (ARM1) to a maximum of 220 million instructions per second at200 MHz (ARM9E). The architecture is licensed to a host of companies to develop their own processors, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon, the Samsung Hummingbird, Nintendo, Nvidia Tegra and the
Apple A4.

Os
The heart of the tablet is the operating system. The most prominent OSs for tablets include the iOS (a proprietary
OS for Apple devices)

Storage Space:
Tablets come with varying memory capacities, starting from 2 GB (Wespro Epad) to as much as 64 GB (Apple iPad) built-in storage space

Touch Screen:
A touch screen user interface is a bit different from the graphical user interface primarily due to the touch-based inputs The iPad features a proprietary UI developed by Apple, there is the TouchWizUI from Samsung, and the Sense UI by HTC.

Sensor
---The touch screen in a tablet is not pressure-based,relies on several sensors.
===The high-end tablets include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor and temperature sensor. The accelerometer ===or the gravity sensor helps to change the orientation of the screen in terms of how it is held.
===The ambientlight sensor adjusts brightness and contrast of your tablet screen with respect to lighting conditions.
===The temperature sensor intimates you of your battery heat levels.

CONNECTORS

A Real Photographer-A Sucess Stories

A True Rags-To Riches Story-A Inspirational sucess Story

Do you think that its hard to fight from poverty Here is sucess story of a teenager who was fighting poverty with his luck that changed his luck and today he is an successful photographer..

Vicky Roy

Vicky Roy has taken his street dreams to the pinnacle of its reality through the trials and tribulations of being a dhaba-boy and a coolie and fighting against the pain and pathos of grinding poverty, literally with no materialistic possessions except for irresistible aspiration, relentless hard work and determination to live a better life with bright future prospects. In spite of having to face battered circumstances that punctuated and paused his life, Vicky continues to inspire thousands of hopeless street-kids to take on their street dreams by overcoming every obstacle in their lives. Today, at the age of 25, he is an accomplished photographer.

Despite being born to appallingly poor parents in Purulia district of West Bengal, he dreamt of living a better life with better opportunities. In pursuit of his dream, at the tender age of 13, Vicky ran away from home and set off to Delhi with 800 rupees that his mother had given him to buy cement for the ongoing construction work in the house. Reality was far cruel and tough than his previous life in the claustrophobic town and he found himself to be in the midst of nowhere. Instead of returning he started his life as a rag picker rummaging through the mountains of garbage and dragging out the damaged plastic products. But very soon he faced the troubles against the local ruffians who started harassing him and snatching his earnings. Disappointed and frustrated, he took up a job as a dish washer at a local café where he worked throughout the day only for 50 rupees and spent days either without food or having guests’ leftovers. It continued until a gentle lady took pity on him and gave him the address of a children’s NGO the Salam Baalak Trust (SBT), which would take care of deprived and abandoned kids. Finally, he found a secured shelter and foods. Apart from attending the school, he would take care of the NGO’s young boys and help them with their homework.

His passion and dream emerged in 2004 while serving as an assistant to a British photographer documenting the atrocious lives of Delhi’s street kids. During the time he learnt several tricks of fine photography besides fixing the tripod for photographer, loading camera rolls, and arranging the boisterous street-kids together for a superior photo pose, and travelling through the streets of Delhi. Soon Vicky picked up photography as his profession. Street life and street kids became his favorite themes. His 25-odd photographs were selected by The India Habitat Gallery in New Delhi and titled it ‘Street Dreams’ and was sponsored by the British High Commission and the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID). He could sell seven photos at the exhibition, each for Rs 10,000 from which he purchased a digital camera for better photography and is now preparing for his second exhibition entitled ‘The Widows of India’.

Apple Logo A tale of True Story

Truth behind the Logo-The Apple

Apple Logo with tagline think Different Has Already Made Something inspiring in us also make the designer stand apart from all other. The Apple logo is one of the most famous logos in the world. Apple fans not only put this logo on their vehicles to show their loyalty, they go to the extreme of tattooing themselves with it, a level of dedication very few brands achieved. The logo is admired for it's simplicity and many meanings that people attach to it. It's timeless. For 30 years it has been unchanged and I expect at least another 30 before anything drastic will be done to it.
Many More Tattoos of the logo has be evolved!!!!

Apple Logo as  tatoo
When Jean Louis Gassée (executive at Apple Computer from 1981 to 1990) was asked about his thoughts to the Apple logo he answered:
One of the deep mysteries to me is our logo, the symbol of lust and knowledge, bitten into, all crossed with the colors of the rainbow in the wrong order. You couldn't dream of a more appropriate logo: lust, knowledge, hope, and anarchy.
The True details of The Apple Logo is here to follow:
The details was reterived when I read an interview from the designer itself.

Rob Janoff, the designer of the original Apple logo, he will tell you all about his design.Early 1977. The agency got the account (Apple) sometime January. The logo was introduced with the new product Apple II in April of that year.He was working for an advertising and public relations agency called Regis McKenna and he was an art director.

Early rob janoff
Rob Jonoff

The first time must have been that first year. It was before he was getting his company started. So it was just Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Mike Markkula. He was the elder guy who corralled these young entrepreneurs. And I think it's because Mike Markkula is how the account wound up at our agency. Steve was friends with my boss Regis McKenna.

The First Apple Logo

Description:
Really there was no brief. But the really funny thing was the only direction we got from Steve Jobs is: "don't make it cute". There were briefs on subsequent jobs. First there was the logo, then there was an introductory ad and a sales brochure for the upcoming introduction. But it was pretty lose at that time. There was a previous logo to my logo. It was a logo done by Ron Wayne who was a very brief partner of the two Steves early on. He later took a buy-out, because he was a little concerned about the financial obligations he might have. He had a young family and the other guys didn't. (The First Designer) Ron did a pen and ink drawing of Sir Isaac Newton sitting under an Apple tree with a poem all around the border. And, I think when Steve Jobs started to get serious about the Apple II and getting a prototype for the design of the shell he realized that logo would not do. So he needed a new logo.

New Logo:
Firstly,There were two versions of the apple logo was developed .One with and one without the bite. Just in case he thought the bite was too cute. Fortunately Steve jobs went with the one that gave it the most personality with the bite. Frankly it was a no brainer and you would miss the mark if you don't show some kind of an apple. When I presented I showed him several variations. Striped version, solid color version, metallic version. All those with the same shape

Steve liked the idea, because he liked things that were outside the box. And, it's not so revolutionary now, but it was a little different then. However he did get a lot of opposition from one of the higher account executives at agency. He was sort of working against me on the meeting where he presented the work to Steve. He made a comment that if this new company went ahead and produced stationary in all these colors they will go bankrupt before they start the business. That was kind of the attitude that he  was facing from the agency. But Steve liked it right off. steve is  a pretty perceptive guy as we later learned and steve liked the uniqueness of it as well. Also, he should add that the idea of a computer going into people's homes was a little bit threatening because up to then computers were for big businesses, who were highly technical and sensitive and all that stuff. Most of the personal computer products that were coming out at the time had very techno names. TRS-80 and things like that, so that's why the name Apple was so golden because it was basic and not technical and to go with that the colors were very important.

The Bite Of The Logo:
They are really interesting, but he was afraid it didn't have a thing to do with it. From a designer's point of view and you probably experienced this, one of the big phenomena is having the experience of designing a logo for whatever reasons you design it, and years later you find out supposedly why you did certain things. And, they are all BS. It's a wonderful urban legend. Somebody starts it and then people go "oh yeah, that must be it".The Idea was Nothing But he wanted to show it as the apple ,without the bite it was looking as the cherry,so he liked the bite version of it.

His Tips While Designing a Logo of youngster:

                                             ----------     by  Rob Janoff ---------------------
The main thing is to make it simple, because designers especially young designers tend to over-design or clients want too many things in there. I think people who tried to work a logo too hard, having too much meaning, wind up with something that's too complex. Logos usually have to be interpreted from very-very small to very-very large and that's not always easy. So, I think simplicity and readability is key. You're designing for an audience who really doesn't care as much as you do and unless it catches their interest right away they are going to pass right over it. So having it very readable is also important. Capturing the audiences imagination by having something revealed to them as they look at the logo is also important. Also, it's an opportunity to give whatever you're trying to portray a personality — this is something I try to do.
