6 Basic tricks to speed up your Android Device

Android Phones Become Slow And Sluggish overtime Use This Basic tricks to Speed Up you Phones

1.Clear app caches

Cached data can build up over time in your applications and affect the performance of your device. Deleting individual caches can be done in the Apps menu, but a number of free programs are available through the Google Play store that can automate the process. Some of the most popular ones include App Cache Cleaner and Clean Master, both of which are available for free.

2. Uninstall or disable unused apps

Your device has a limited amount of internal storage and the less free space it has the slower it will perform. If you have filled your device with photos, music, or apps, it is recommended to free up space by either uninstalling unused apps or moving files to cloud storage services like Dropbox or Google Drive.
Uninstalling apps can be done by going to Settings, opening the Apps menu, and selecting the app you wish to uninstall. Preloaded applications from carriers or manufacturers that cannot be uninstalled, known as bloatware, can at least be disabled and hidden from the app drawer using this method.
On smartphones and tablets that include expandable storage you can also move apps to the microSD card. To do this, enter Settings, go to the Apps menu, click the app you wish to move, and select the "Move to SD card" option.

3. Disable animations

A hidden settings option in Android will give you access to commands you may have never known existed. Go to Settings, About Phone, scroll down to Build number, and tap it seven times. You will now have access to developer options. These special settings allow you to do a variety of things, but they are meant for advanced users and shouldn't be changed unless you know what you are doing.
One tweak that could speed up your device is disabling animations within the operating system. To do this, open Settings, go to Developer options, and scroll down to the Drawing option. Next, turn off the Window animation scale, Transition animation scale, and Animator duration scale. This will disable animations that occur when you open, close, and switch between apps. Although the interface will look less polished, there should be less lag in performance.

4.Limit widgets and live wallpapers

Many people would argue that widgets are one of the benefits of using an Android device. They can be helpful for finding information quickly without having to open an app, but at the same time they can eat away at battery life and slow your device.
Reducing the number of widgets, especially data-intensive ones like Facebook, will help your smartphone or tablet run more smoothly and last longer. You can remove widgets from the home screen by long-pressing the one you wish to delete and dragging it to the top of the screen.
Another cool Android feature is the option to use a live wallpaper as your background. Like widgets, however, live wallpapers can slow down your device and drain the battery. You can also change your wallpaper with a long press on the home screen.

5. Get software updates

Manufacturers and carriers are continually pushing out new software updates to their devices. It is imperative that you be on the latest firmware as these updates usually include security and bug fixes, among other things that will improve the overall stability of your device. To check to see if there is an update available, go to Settings, select About Phone, and choose the "System updates" option.

6. Rooting, ROMing, and more

Risk takers and advanced users can also root their device, which will open the door to new features and even greater performance boosts. Rooting gives you the ability to overclock the device's processor, install a custom ROM, and other things; however it also voids your warranty and could cause irreversible damage to the device.

Whats New on Youtube in Android

Google began a slow rollout on Monday of a major update to its YouTube app for Android, with other mobile YouTube app updates coming later.
A major YouTube mobile update allows people to browse other videos while watching, to search and watch playlists, and to queue videos on connected devices.

A Google representative told that the slow rollout was intentional and not a leak of the app's installer file, or APK.
YouTube 5.0 for Android includes several features to make the app more like watching YouTube on the Web and, in some cases, surpass the Web experience. Google confirmed that the updated YouTube app is expected to reach the Google Play store sometime Tuesday morning. YouTube for iOS is also expected to update soon.
In addition to the new logo and the redesigned interface that cribs heavily from Google's new "house style," the app features three main new features.

You now can swipe down while watching a video to keep playing the video while browsing for other videos. It shrinks the video to the lower right corner, while the main browsing interface takes up the rest of the screen. Swiping up restores the video, while swiping left or right will close the video.
Another major new feature is that you can browse and play video playlists in the app. As YouTube inadvertently became the Internet's unofficial jukebox, playlists have become one of the site's most popular options.

Queue up Playlist ,Just like on website

Video queuing is now available on connected devices that use the Cast button, such as the new Chromecast, Google TV, and PlayStation 3. When you're streaming a video to a connected device with the Cast button, you'll be able to browse and either play your selected video immediately or queue up another one to watch next.

Update for Google+ to add, manage multiple profile in Android

Android updates For multiple profile for Google +

Android users no longer have to log out and back in when using the Google+ app with more than one account. Thank you, Google!
For those of us with more than one Google+ account, the recent update to the Android app was welcome news.
Prior to the update, the workflow to manage multiple accounts in the Google+ app required you to log out of one account, then relaunch the Google+ app and select the account you'd like log back in to. It was a pain. Not only that, but alerts would not come through for the logged out account.
Now with the update, you're able to add multiple accounts, say for a business page you manage and your personal account, and still receive alerts for all accounts involved.
  • To manage more than one Google+ account, you first need to make sure you're using the latest version. You can grab it from the Play Store.

  • After updating, launch the app and head to the Settings menu. Under Account Settings you'll see the account you're currently logged in to, with an option to Add Account just below it. Touch this button and select the account you'd like to add, assuming it's already added to your device's accounts settings, or add a new account altogether.

  • The next time you want to switch accounts, you have two options. The first is to come back to the same settings page and tap on the account you'd like to use (too many steps if you ask me). The second -- much quicker option -- is the slide out the menu drawer and tap on the arrow located next to your name. Doing so will reveal the accounts you have added, with the ability to switch between accounts just by tapping on the name.

‘Find My Stuff’ Mobile App to Revolutionize the Way We Live in Future

Have you lost keys, rings, wallet or your umbrella? Don’t panic but never loose your mobile phone.
With a new app developed to trace your lost valuables, your mobile phone will be your friend, guide and philosopher in the future. It will soon show you the location of your valuables or important stuff in seconds.
The mobile app “Find My Stuff” is designed to find your valuables by placing small postage stamp-sized electronic tags which can be placed on those valuables that tend to go missing the most.
To loacte an item that is missing, just type into the app, and a wi-fi signal will be sent to the tag, locating the item instantly.
Florian Schaub, a German research assistant at Ulm University, however explained that there is a flipside to it. Another user of “Find My Stuff” would be able to track you and your belongings as you pass by his or her buildings.
To overcome this issue of cross-identification of stuff, “Find My Stuff” app will make use of strong authentication allowing only the right owner to search for his or her lost items.
“We don’t want to build a surveillance network,” said Schaub.
In a survey by insurance firm Esure, the average person loses nine items a week and spends about 15 minutes a day searching for the items.
The German scientists who have developed the app are still fixing some glitches before releasing it officially. Once it is made commercial, it should cost around $80 for individual mobile users.
Though locating missed items using sensors and transmitters is not new, unlike the ‘FindMyStuff’ system, they do not provide a precise location but point the user in the general direction of where the items can be located.

Google to show ads on maps on android and ios app

google-maps-app-ads.jpg

According to Google, the ads will now appear at the bottom of the screen after a user performs a search.
While advertising is a major source of revenue for Google, it had left its maps app free of ads, even though its point of interest listings did feature businesses part of its AdWords program. However, the search major has now introduced "relevant ads" on its Maps app.
The ads will include a title, ad text, and a link to get directions, and users can tap or swipe upward to see more information related to it. Advertisers can choose to "add location extensions to their search campaigns or create an ad with AdWords Express" to appear in these search results.

Google adds that users will see additional information such as the business's address, phone number, photos, reviews and more, when they click on an ad to get location details. From here, there are two types of user actions, free and paid. The free ones won't be charged to the advertiser while the paid ones will be charged. Free click user actions include 'save business information for later', 'share a business with a friend', or 'start navigation' options that are offered with the listing. Paid clicks include the initial 'get location details' click, get directions, click-to-call and clicks on the ad headline. Google informs that AdWords will only charge for up to two paid clicks per ad impression.

Of course, for the end user, all actions are free, and most users are unlikely to know the difference between ads and regular search results. While search ads are not very intrusive and are listed separately, users are more likely to be left confused with the Maps app ads. They might even mistake these as actual listings for their search and get misguided even though Google puts a small 'Ad' tag along with the listing.

Google has always offered a majority of its consumer services, free of charge but has monetized them via advertisements, so the move doesn't really come as a surprise.

The move will allow business to target specific keywords within Maps. For example, a restaurant may choose to show its ad if the user searches for restaurants within a specific location.

Recently, Google had updated its Maps app on iOS and Android bringing a much cleaner interface, features like traffic an incident updates and a new 'Explore' feature enabling users to browse and discover popular local places to eat, drink, shop, play and sleep.

Top 5 missing things in LG G2

Lg produced One of the powerful Smartphones From their invasion.but it could be perfect if ....
LG's G2 is a functionally built and designed device, with its rear buttons, intelligent short cuts and powerful processor. However, given the strong competition that the tech giant faces in the flagship arena, the handset could have been made even more competitive with a host of additional features. Take a look at the 5 things we wish the G2 had.

1. Memory: LG's latest flagship is designed for media, entertainment and gaming on the go but it comes in variants of only 16 GB and 32 GB of in-built memory. While such internal storage is sufficient for data, pictures and music, a 64 GB model of the handset would have been ideal for storing larger files of videos and high-end games.
2. Form: The G2 looks stunning with its ultra slim bezels and edge-to-edge display but it sports a thickness of over 8mm. With thinner and slimmer phones increasingly becoming the order of the day, LG would have done well to bring its new handset down in thickness, maybe not as slim as the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, but close enough.

3. Gesture Controls: LG has revamped its UX on the G2 to make everyday tasks on the smartphone seamless and hassle free. Though its add-ons are certainly functional, they could have been made even more intuitive with a wider range of gesture controls thrown in. Samsung has an edge over its competition here.
4. Operating System: Now that Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is finally out and about in the tech world, it is a bit disappointing that LG's newest flagship does not carry the update straight out of the box. Though the G2 is sure to receive the 4.3 build sooner than later, it would have edged past the competition if had released with it on board.
5. Life Proof: Since the G2 is a flagship device geared to do everything from making phone calls and sending text messages to gaming and playing back video, we would have liked it to be dust and water proof. With Samsung and Sony already on the whatever-proof bandwagon, we are surprised LG is lagging a little behind on this front.
