Embeddable Posts With Facebook

Facebook Introduces Embeddable Posts

Facebook rolls out a new feature that will enable web portals to share the social network's content on their site. 'Embed Post' will make it possible for people to bring timely public posts from Facebook to the rest of the web.
However, all Facebook posts cannot be embedded, only those posts whose privacy settings are set to public can be embedded.
According to the announcement, the feature is currently being tested with CNN, Huffington Post, Bleacher Report, PEOPLE and Mashable pages. However, Facebook promised broader availability soon.
This is the second Twitter feature added by Facebook this year. Earlier in June, Facebook introduced hashtags, a feature that was synonymous with Twitter.
In an effort to inject Facebook into more public conversations, the company  introduced embeddable posts that will let blogs and news organizations include status updates, videos and photos in stories.
The posts work in the same way as embeds from Twitter and YouTube. Once your account is enabled, you will have the option to "Embed post." That will produce a code you can cut and paste into a blog entry or HTML file.

For a post to be embeddable, it must be set to public. In its announcement, Facebook used a status update from the British Monarchy about the recent royal birth as an example:

Why embed post?
The intent of such efforts is to provide more inventory to advertisers looking to reach people during live events, like the Super Bowl or the Oscars. Until now, Twitter has offered the lion's share of such ad opportunities, but with 1.1 billion users, 28% of Facebook audience offers a viable alternative.

Will This is going to work for facebook ?

4 Free Apps for Photo Editing to use with Instagram

  •

    1.PHOTOSHOP EXPRESS

    F1e1e56e

This app is a no-brainer. Simple and intuitive, Photoshop Express lets you make the necessary adjustments to crop, exposure, color, tint, hue, saturation, contrast and levels with ease.
You can create artistic looking shots with the swipe of your finger when you add many of the classic filters from Photoshop, including "Lens zoom," "Grain" and "Glow."
While somewhat simple, the app works well. Plus it’s free — so, if you don’t already have it, you should be uploading it now.

  • 2. PIXLROMATIC

    984a6e58

If you only download one app from the list, this should be it. While you wont be able to add funny stamps and cat masks to all of your photos, you'll take some of the best-looking photos your friends have ever seen.
It's best to use the app in combination with another (like Photoshop) that lets you make basic corrections before addding these amazing effects.
Choose from dozens of filters (if you buy the pro version of the app, you get even more). Each filter is better than any you'll find on Instagram. Then, add effects like beautiful sparkles, neon light streaks and even realistic rain.

With Photowonder, crop, collage, add filters and effects. It falls into the same category as LINE Camera, letting users change the filters but also add stamps and create collages.
Still, the effects are much different than LINE Camera's. One of the best filters adds snow to your photos. (Here, we made it snow in New York City on a scorcher.) Finally, preview effects before you apply them — one of the best parts of the app.

    4. LINE CAMERA

Whether you like to get silly with your photos or need to write notes, mark-up images, or just play with cool filters for your shots, this app is for you.
Use LINE Camera to add beards to your friends photos. More serious editors can use the painting and text tools for photo mock-ups.
LINE Camera has as many filters as Instagram. Plus, it lets you draw over your photos with different brushes, add smiley faces, glasses and other funny stamps atop your pictures.
This Japanese app has the most options and effects on the list.

VIews-A google Community Site to share panoramic photos

Google launched a community site called Views, allowing users to easily share 360-degree panoramic photos to Google Maps, on Tuesday.
The images, which Google calls "photo spheres" are plotted on Maps and geotagged, according to a blog post written by product manager Evan Rapoport. Photo spheres can be created with the camera on an Android phone running version 4.2 (Jelly Bean) or higher.

Procedure For adding Your own

To add your own, you’ll need to sign into the Views site with your Google+ profile. Next, click the blue camera button on the top right of the page and import your existing photo spheres from your Google+ photos, or tap “Share” in Android’s Gallery app and select Google Maps.
On Views, you get your own page which shows all your photo spheres and lets you add descriptions about the place you’ve visited. You can also explore your uploads on a map.

Understandably, there isn’t that much content on Views yet, so Google has added the Street View Gallery to compensate: it features panoramas of the company’s most popular Street View collections. You can access it on any Views page by hitting the “Explore” button at the top.

A transparent wall Could Be the Future

Be aware  You are Being Watched In Future

Scientists are developing a new technology that could give us 'X-ray' vision with the ability to track moving humans hiding in closed rooms or behind walls.

Researchers at Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory are using low-cost wi-fi technology to develop the system that spots movement of people in rooms or behind walls.

Researchers have long attempted to build a device capable of seeing people through walls. However, previous efforts to develop such a system have involved the use of expensive and bulky radar technology that uses a part of the electromagnetic spectrum only available to the military.

The new system, called "Wi-Vi", is based on a concept similar to radar and sonar imaging. But in contrast to radar and sonar, it transmits a low-power wi-fi signal and uses its reflections to track moving humans. It can do so even if the humans are in closed rooms or hiding behind a wall.

As a wi-fi signal is transmitted at a wall, a portion of the signal penetrates through it, reflecting off any humans on the other side.

However, only a tiny fraction of the signal makes it through to the other room, with the rest being reflected by the wall, or by other objects.

"So we had to come up with a technology that could cancel out all these other reflections, and keep only those from the moving human body," Katabi said.

To do this, the system uses two transmit antennas and a single receiver. The two antennas trans
mit almost identical signals, except that the signal from the second receiver is the inverse of the first.
